TOMORROW

What’s your #1 priority tomorrow?

In tomorrow lies expectations and desires,

Hope of achieving the unimaginable

in heart,

The foreseeable bride that dispels today,

A jewel that all nations long to see.

Tomorrow and prospects walk along

The corridors of all human hearts,

Agitation and plans being the forerunners,

Road maps bearing milestones are drawn,

Just for a morrow to smile in desire beauty.

Tomorrow is unseen yet we project our

activities,

In the order of priority,

We set our optimisms according to needs,

With some sleepless nights some

underwent,

To make some beautiful garments for the

morrow.

Tomorrow for some never comes,

Though plans are at race and thoughts

falling in lines,

With great prospects smiling ahead,

But life and death have proposed

their honeymoon,

As they bow in death and never

see the morrow.

By tomorrow I shall climb the hills of time,

I shall spread my wings like an eagle

On the ranges,

I shall say to today I have conquer

your antics,

I shall romance the morrow with the

goodies at it’s balconies

But not all tomorrow comes only

with good side,

Hence we prepare for the best

and the worst,

Whichever comes our ways,

our minds are well armed,

To face the realities of the uncertainties.

My priority for tomorrow is to write, work

and do same over again,

Until time comes that I have exhausted

my tomorrows,

Then I bid the world good bye,

For a golden morrow on the other side.
