What was your favorite subject in school?

Revealing the global mental portraits,

Telling of what, where, why and how,

Directing the path to land unknown,

Aiding remote explorations,

Painting the real world on paper,

Appreciating various spheres of life,

Traversing all fields of learning,

Analysing events over space and time,

Giving a foreknowledge of

regional peculiarities,

Acting as forerunner of

spatial scientists,

Connecting the past by the

presence for future projections,

Describing the earth with her

mind blowing attributes,

Unraveling the cosmic mysteries

of the universal order,

Relevant through all ages with

the applications of modern age.

Still warning the globe on the

effect of green house gases,

Alas, the stubborn world yield

no warning.

Oh how I love Geography,

My life companion till death.
