REFLECT TO AMEND

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

Deep within I sink in thought,

Wandering on the shadows

gone bye,

If only the clock’s arms

can tick, tick back,

A lot will be settled in epoch past.

Errors in history are hunting

shadows,

Causing the mind to ponder

in regret,

Unconscious exclamations gush

out unconscious,

Oh that the story in history

can be proofread.

As I reflect on my past epoch,

I paint my shortfalls and

pat my good,

Looking diligently to bind

the faults,

That no gully divides my heart

from my conscience.

Ways to appease my past by

my golden moments,

Is what I beam my light

to search,

On the altar of daily

sacrifice I pray,

To burn in better flames with

sweet flagrance that

out cloud my past

omen of displeasure.

Past times here, not for frivolity,

It’s a time to amend the

amendable past,

and to nurse the indelibly

un-amendables!
