THE POWER OF FEAR

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

Long down the street of time,

At my formative stage of mind,

There I perceived the gruesome side of life,

In fear I cringed at every sight.

For the action of my shadow I fear,

As it follows every step I took, I cringed,

Never has it occured to me that it’s me,

Under the eyes of light as image falls,

Fear was that terror that terrified me.

My imagination becomes so real,

Even when things imagined are so unreal,

At a sound, heart pounds as quaking rock,

As the mind perceive an imaginary horror,

Never did I agree to be alone in a room,

Never would I wish to walk alone on street,

So fearful was I for unharmed and unseen,

Fear was indeed my childhood dictator.

As I began to grow in with life experience,

I realize the exaggerative power of fear,

Then the battle began between fear and I,

It was a battle of the mind and

the unrealistic factors of fear,

It took a courageous effort to put

my fear to perpetual rest.

Lessons for the benefit of my esteem readers:

Fear is an expression of anxiety for the

unseen and the unknown which ends up

to be unreal in most cases.

It is a state of an emotional imbalance,

Which magnifies an object or a situation

and make it looks so terrifying, even when

It is harmless in the real sense of it.

Fear keeps us at the corridor of indulgence,

Even when actions are supposed to be

Taking, and in most times, fear causes us

To take unnecessary actions in life.

Fear is destructive, fear belittles and

Fear subjugate it’s prey to nothing.

Fear brings depression,

Depression nurses high blood pressure,

High blood pressure is the nextdoor

Neighbor to death.

Fear is of course an expression of

Superfluidity of nothingness.

FEAR was defined by an author as:

False Experience Appearing Real,

Fear magnifies falsehood to make us

Impotent, defenseless and inactive.

The antidote against fear is a conscious

Proactive courage.

FIGHT CONSCIOUSLY AGAINST fear.

  1. This fear war is of spiritual origin. The spiritual warfare we are in as people, is based upon our fears. That’s what moves us. We go to work out of the fear of not being able to provide for ourselves and our families. We eat the food our fridge quickly for the fear of it rotting. There’s a whole lot of fear we are fight consciously but its a constant battle.
A way i like to fight it is being patient and molding my perspectives to be able to see the positives in all aspects. Trust there are always positives in the negatives.
Thank you for this sharing this perspective with us !
