WE BETRAYED HIS LOVE (EPISODE 2)

It was a great fall in the garden, fall from grace, fall from hope, fall from life and fall through eternity for the unrepentant. Man was chased out of comfort into a world of chaos, bitterness and hatred, and on the part of the old dragon, he felt achieved for winning the soul of man to his own side. Honestly, it was an incalculable loss for humanity and for heaven because the soul of every man is so precious in the eyes of the MAKER of all flesh.

While the heaven was working out the modalities for a Sinless Sacrificial Lamb for atonement of sin in humanity, the Almighty made a provision for a temporary model of atonement among men, which only leveraged on the commitment of the willing and yielding men to the ways of Maker of all. The first of it kind was the sacrifice of Cain and Abel.

Though the sacrifice cannot wash off the endemic sinful nature of man, it was just a token of man’s obedience to God Almighty prior to the commissioning of the WORTHY LAMB OF GOD. Cain was rejected for lack of sincere commitment to the divine order, Abel his brother was accepted. Sin is a cankerworm that eats up the soul of every man under it’s influence, the horror of bitterness took hold of Cain, and the aftermath effect was the first case of murder in the entire history of man.

Periodic sacrifices of animals were unconventionally put in place to atone for the filthiness of man, all through the lifecycle of the patriarchs of old ( Enoch, Noah, and host of others).

The sin of men grew worst in the sight of the Almighty Maker, no one was found guiltless except for Noah and his household, despite the divine provision of periodic sacrifice, to temporarily atone for the sin of man. Flood came, the entire earth was sub-merged under the waters, only a family of eight survived the first known tsunami in the history of human existence. After the tsunami, Noah and his household continued in the offering of sacrifice, and procreation of humans continues as men replenish the earth, and the depravity of sin never stopped.

While still waiting for the appointed time for the revelation of the WORTHY LAMB, the mosaic era witnessed a levitican order of a more organized model of periodic atonement (though not perfect) for human sin, this was not without knowledge of the Almighty God. He gave the pattern the priests must follow to atone for the sin of man. The mosaic ordinance accounted for the use of animals such as lamb, goats, turtle-dove as worthy animals for atonement, all pointing at the advent of the WORTHY LAMB.

“Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin”. The blood of animals could not permanently make man clean, hence it offered temporal measure of cleaning for the chosen nation of Israel.

The compelling love of God for human kind is unfathomable, hence HE ordered a solemn moment in heaven for a long awaited agenda of restoration and reconciliation of man through the WORTHY LAMB to be fully accomplished.

Heaven was silent, no one could volunteered to die for the sin of men. Human race was at the verge of eternal damnation, when the second in the TRINITY stood up to serve as the SACRIFICIAL LAMB OF GOD for the sin of men. The very SON OF THE MOST HIGH was ready to drink from the cup of suffering and excruciating pain of horrific death. HE made HIMSELF ready for the utmost price to be paid for the sin of men. There the work of our redemption became settled.

HE has to come in human flesh, HE has to come through a virgin. Prophecies of HIS birth began to rollout through the divine inspiration on the prophets of old. David (the Psalmist), Isaiah, Jeremiah and host of others proclaimed the birth, the name and the mission of THE WORTHY LAMB OF GOD.

HIS birth was herald prominently by Isaiah the prophet. Isaiah gave an accurate account of CHRIST CONCEPTION, BIRTH, MISION, DEATH, RESURRECTION AND REIGNS.

A compelling love of GOD through CHRIST to redeem mankind was established in heaven and was made manifest on earth.
