Happiness is a product of positive emotional disposition to seemingly pleasant situation or occurrence, that gladens the mind. In most cases, happiness use to be spontaneous, and it varies in magnitude with time and events. It can literarily disappear when the mood of satisfaction is affected by negative feeling, unlike joy that last longer as a human feeling irrespective of circumstances. Now to the question, 30 things that make me happy. I will try to highlight some. 1. Worshipping in God’s presence. 2. My beautiful hearted wife. 3. My beautiful little princess (my daughter). 4. Being in the company of truthful and sincere people. 5. Doing God’s work. 6. Watching my football club winning a match. 7. Having opportunity to give to the needy. 8. Sharing my knowledge with other colleagues. 9. Teaching younger generation. 10. Reading history about past events. 11. Engaging the aged (old) fellows in heart to heart conversation. 12. Traveling a very long distance. 13. Observing different works of nature. 14. Reflecting on funny past events. 15. Having an inspiration to write on a subject matter. 16. Engaging in research field work. 17. Reading poems or other contents that touched the heart. 18. Leadership sincerity and honesty. 19. When there is power (electricity) supply. 20. When I am giving the opportunity to share the gospel of Christ. 21. Giving life changing counsel to youths. 22. Being part of the success story of others. 23. Boldness to stand by the truth while others are compromising. 24. Having and giving solutions to seemingly unresolvable situations. 25. Caring for the old people. 26. Answers to my prayers by God. 27. Being healed from sickness without applying medication. 28. Having a godly and a conscientious society. 29. An arena of love without reservation. 30. Engaging in a legitimate work to provide food for my family.

  1. I can identify with your thoughts that “happiness is a product of positive emotional disposition…” Happiness is like education, the best of which is the one which one gives to himself/herself. The quality of one’s thoughts determines the sum total of one’s life and outlook; in that light, happiness builds from within, what an individual chooses to engage the mind on.
